Online Event Registration
Starting March 15, we will be moving to 100 % online event registration. No more forms to fill out and mail( or deliver). No more calls to the Council office.
Why have we made this move?
Convenience. You can register at your leisure( in your pajamas even).
Accuracy. Information is entered once by the person who knows the details best.
Data Security. Everything is stored in a secure database that is accessibly only by password permission.
Information. Event status is available anytime, anywhere.
Easy Check-in. Accurate lists make check-ins a breeze. Future use of bar codes will make it even faster.
Saves Money. Less staff time is needed to enter and track registration. Supply purchases will be based on good information.
How does it work?
Simple. Use the link provided to register or find the link on the Council Calendar.
Click on“ Register” and the system will walk you through the registration steps.

ONLINE YOUTH & LEADER REGISTRATION
Finally! Scouting families and prospective Scouting families have asked for it, and now it is here!
Beginning this fall, the traditional paper registration method will not be the only way to join Scouting. The Moraine Trails Council, BSA will offer online registration to meet the demand for completing the entire registration process for youth members and adult leaders more efficiently.
This is a giant leap forward in allowing prospective members and leaders to register in a way that ' s convenient for them, and it creates a more efficient and user-friendly registration experience for units, districts, and councils.
IMPORTANT STEPS TO SUCCESS!
�� Review the online registration overview at www. scouting. org / onlineregistration.
�� Make sure all your leaders can login to My. Scouting. org
�� Add myscoutingtools @ scouting. org to your email’ s safe senders list.
�� Update your my. Scouting Tools profile and do the following: 1. Ensure the proper unit is listed 2. Ensure your“ positions” are listed correctly for each position you hold. 3. Verify your email address is correct.
�� Ensure the“ Contact Us” info is correct in your unit’ s pin in the BeaScout system.
