Patrols of four to eight members( including the“ victim”) will compete by administering proper first aid on a mock victim while describing the appropriate actions to the judge during each of five emergency situations. Scouts should Be Prepared for any reasonable first aid situation you could expect to encounter.
Every patrol will also complete a timed, multiple choice quiz on first aid. The winning patrol not only wins a large“ goodie” basket for the entire troop, the quiz will be used as a tie breaker for the competition.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three patrols in each scenario, the top three patrols in overall scoring and the top patrol in the quiz.
