On this night , some families making mevlid instead of entertainment . Various fruits , dried fruits and hedik are served as a treat . Incoming guests bring gifts to the mother and the newborn child . In the Şeşe Night , a black cover is covered over the newborn baby to protect the baby from the demons . The next day , the mother takes her first bath with her baby after birth . The mother and baby are bathed in water with read chickpeas .
The bath water accumulated in a basin is poured into the tree bottoms . The mother and her child are then visited to the shrines of Sheikh Abdurrahman Baba or Sofu Baba .
