IIFT was established in 1990 by Mr. Ratnadeep Lal, who is one of the country’ s leading fashion technologist. He has a vast experience in the field of fashion in India as well as in Europe and America. Under his professional expertise, IIFT has become one of the biggest fashion institute of Asia.
Mr. Lal, who is a graduate from a prestigious fashion school in Europe, London college, had an experience of over 32 years. This vast experience has given IIFT in the field of fashion, education a prime position. IIFT besides dealing in fashion education also provides consultancy service aimed for manufacturer and exporters in Asia, Europe, and African subcontinent. IIFT is associated and affiliated with International Textile and Fashion Council( IFTC) an apex body, for the development of the garment industry.
