This is known as Held Desk , a new breakthrough from the SEZ Board that will help investors solve their problems . It will also act as a facilitator so that the government can keep their initial promise made to the investors when they first invested in Indonesia , which was that the investing in SEZ regions will be easy .

2017 EODB SURVEY : INDONESIA TAKES OVER THE UPPERMOST LIST OF TOP REFORMERS

The toils of Indonesia ’ s government in boosting the rank of Ease of Doing Business ( EODB ) has finally filled the bill . The World Bank announced the result of the 2017 EODB survey on October 26 th and released Indonesia as the uppermost country on Top Reformer list based on improvements made in starting a business , getting electricity , registering property , getting credit , paying taxes , trading across borders and enforcing contracts .
The country ’ s ranking on the ease-ofdoing-business index in the World Bank ’ s flagship annual report has jumped 15 places to 91st position , from the previous rank of 106 . The survey ’ s result put Indonesia on the top – position country with seven indicators of reform that fixes at once . Kazakhstan , along with Indonesia which fixes the seven indicators , while other countries such as the United Arab Emirates , Kenya and Georgia , reform in five indicators , a position subsequently filled by Pakistan , Serbia and Bahrain which fix three indicators .
The Chairman of Investment Coordinating Board ( BKPM ) Thomas Lembong appreciated the positive results achieved from the deregulation carried out by the
Government . " According to information obtained from colleagues at the World Bank , the significant jump in one year is by far the largest in the history of World Bank EODB rating spike ," as he said in remarks to the official media on October 26 , 2016 .
As stated by Tom , President Joko “ Jokowi ” Widodo ’ s concern towards the importance of the government to continue to pursue improvements and keep seeking the ease of doing business that is included in the XII economic policy package , is in a greater need of harder endeavors to make it succeed . " The commitment to provide the easiness will be carried out through a variety of deregulation policies ," he continued .
According to Tom , the economic policy package volumes I-XIII which aims to deregulate and de-bureaucratize by simplifying procedures , accelerating time service licensing and cost reduction , arranging licenses through the establishment of an One – Door Integrated Service ( PTSP ) and licensing services through electronic systems ( online ), as well as law enforcement and business certainty to become an effective instrument in encouraging increase in the rankings . " Nowadays , the Government has issued 13 packages of policies and created a task force to implement these policy packages ," he added .
