TRACES SPRING 2017 | Page 27

Generic Senior Poem By Hunter Comer Time flies and time slows, Where you’ll be next year nobody knows. But, if one thing can be very clear, The end of the school year is near, I fear. We’ve tried and strived for years on end, Once school is gone responsibilities will kick in. Soon you will be out in the great big world, You will change history, your dreams will be fulfilled. But before you look back on school, in love or despair. Cherish these last few days we are here. Even if your grades were never too great, Take a moment to celebrate. The friends you’ve made, The loves you lost, Was the prom dress really worth the cost? Well, seniors, our time has come, And underclassmen the school year is almost done! Go thank your teachers for all their help. Say goodbye, and wish them well. And one day we will all meet again, When we are millionaires and rich men.
