M Beverly Price s . Beverly Price has served TPDCo under many different hats- from Training Co-coordinator (1998), Training Officer (2001), Tourism Training Manager (2006), Acting Executive Tourism Training Manager (2010), to Regional Manager (2015). During this time, Ms. Price was the pioneer Team Jamaica Instructor; she was instrumental in the revision of the Team Jamaica Programme; contributed to the development of the customer service management component of the Team Trainer and Coach Programmes and co-edited the 4th and 5th editions of the Team Jamaica Handbook. In her capacity as Executive Tourism Training Manager, she spearheaded the Team Jamaica/HEART Trust NTA partnership. She was also influential in the implementation of the Rural Economic Development Initiative (REDI) Programme (2010-2017). The REDI Programme was pivotal in improving market access for micro and small scale rural agricultural producers and tourism projects. Under the programme, direct employment was created for over 1,400 persons and jobs sustained for an additional 303 persons. Additionally, over 20 informal entrepreneurial enterprises have become legally registered and have joined the formal economy. Ms. Price encapsulates the core values of the company- team spirit, respect, passion and commitment. Her exemplary service was again evidenced in the support given to the passengers and crew of the Star Princess Cruise Vessel during a fire on board the ship in March 2006. Congratulations to Ms. Price on this milestone, TPDCo will cherish all the contributions she made to the organization Doreen Forrester Mrs. Forrester joined the Tourism Product Development Company Limited (TPDCo) in 1996. She was one of the few staff members whom we inherited from our antecedent Tourism Action Plan (TAP) and was employed as the Secretary to the Director of Standards. She was later promoted to Administrative Officer in 1998 and over the course of the years up to her appointment in 2010; she acted in the capacity of Licensing Officer in the License Processing Unit. M r s . Forrester came to TPDCo as a Certified Professional Secretary from the B&B Institute. She is also the holder of a Secretarial Diploma from the PBS Training Institute and a Certificate from Datamac. During her tenure she acquired an Introduction to Supervisory Management Certificate and Business Administration Diploma from the Institute of Management and Production (IMP). Mrs. Forrester is a hardworking employee, a team player and has the uncanny ability to form excellent relationships with her managers, coworkers and peers. She is respected by all and a friend to many. She always makes the most of her time and consistently produces good work. Mrs. Forrester was the Team Lead of the Records Management Project, where she monitored the data entry clerks while seamlessly executing her usual functions. She exemplifies the traits of productivity, motivation, dedication and self-reliance. It was these traits that earned her the Employee of the Year (2013-2014) and the Star Performer, Kingston Region (2014-2015) Awards.
