s . Beverly Price has served TPDCo
under many different hats- from Training
Co-coordinator (1998), Training Officer
(2001), Tourism Training Manager
(2006), Acting Executive Tourism
Training Manager (2010), to Regional
Manager (2015). During this time,
Ms. Price was the pioneer Team

instrumental in the revision of the
Team Jamaica Programme;
contributed to the development of the
customer service management
component of the Team Trainer and Coach
Programmes and co-edited the 4th and 5th

capacity as Executive Tourism Training Manager, she
spearheaded the Team Jamaica/HEART Trust NTA
partnership.
She was also influential in the implementation of
the Rural Economic Development Initiative
(REDI) Programme (2010-2017). The REDI
Programme was pivotal in improving
market access for micro and small
scale rural agricultural producers and
tourism projects. Under the
programme, direct employment was
created for over 1,400 persons and
jobs sustained for an additional 303
persons. Additionally, over 20
informal entrepreneurial enterprises
have become legally registered and
have joined the formal economy.
Ms. Price encapsulates the core values
of the company- team spirit, respect, passion
and commitment. Her exemplary service was again
evidenced in the support given to the passengers
and crew of the Star Princess Cruise Vessel during a
fire on board the ship in March 2006.
Congratulations to Ms. Price on this milestone, TPDCo
will cherish all the contributions she made to the
organization
