MY MOBAY SUNSET
Wrapped in the warmth of its loveliness and
Caressed by the depth and multiplicity of it co-
lours
It envelopes and captivates me
As we sail from the busy shore
That’s my Mobay sunset, I couldn’t ask for more.
Hues of orange, magenta, silver and gold
A light breeze upon my face of old
With arms wide open I go into repose
Sea spray whispering hope and gently splashing
to cool me from the heat of a hectic day
That’s my Mobay sunset I will soak it up for sure.
Revealing the beauty of God’s creation
There can be “peace in the midst of the storm”
I get lost in its beauty, forget all my woes,
And wonder how come I missed it?
In life’s busy and often bewildering overtures
This feels like contentment,
Feels like a lingering fire igniting my passions
That’s my Mobay sunset and what’s more,
The place that I call home.
