HEALTH INSURANCE
All employees, unless otherwise stated in employment contract, will be placed on the company's health
insurance scheme. This scheme provides coverage for general health care, including optical and dental.
The company shall bear the full cost of health insurance for individual plans, and 70% of the cost for individual
+ 1, and family plans.
GYM FEES
50% of gym fee up to a maximum of $2,500 per month may be paid for all employees.
PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
Employees who are professionals will be encouraged to affiliate with their professional societies, so as to
take an active part in their work, and to prepare and present papers from time to time. Such affiliations
stimulate professional development.
50% of one job related professional membership fee may be paid per person per 12 month period.
PENSION SCHEME
14.1 All new permanent employees between the ages of eighteen (18) and fifty-five (55) years are required
to join the company’s pension scheme, which provides a benefit at retirement age.
14.2 Employees shall contribute 5% of their salary to the scheme, and in addition the company shall con-
tribute 5%. If the employee wishes, he/she has the option to increase his contribution by an additional 10%,
with the company’s contribution remaining at 5%.
14.3 In the event the employee leaves the company before retirement age, he/she shall receive a refund
of his/her contribution with interest. After five (5) years of service, the employee can: a) Elect to receive a
refund of contributions with interest, or b) Elect not to withdraw his/her contributions. In this case he/she will
be entitled to a deferred pension payable at his/her normal retirement age.

(a.) All public holidays declared by the government are observed by TPDCo.
(b.) If the public holiday falls within an employee’s vacation leave, an additional vacation day with pay will
be granted.

20.1 There shall be continual appraisal of each employee's job performance and overall progress in TPDCo
based on the requirements and expectations of the position.
20.2 The performance appraisal system is designed to monitor the employee’s performance, and identify
his/her strong areas as well as those in need of further development
