TPDCo handovers 170 bins to Montego Bay
In a bid to ensure that Jamaica’s resort areas are kept clean, the Tourism
Product Development Company Limited (TPDCO) handed over 170 gar-
bage bins to the Municipal Corporation of St. James and the National Solid
Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) to be placed around the St. James
parish. The presentation was conducted on Friday November 03, 2017 by

The Participants were eager to show off their products
during the group shot.
Hosted by the Portmore Municipal Corporation, TPDCO’s
stalwart training officer, Belinda Dowe delivered
a community tourism training session to Portmore
based entrepreneurs as the town is being targeted
as the next tourist destination. The participants were
treated with an information laden session on the
best practices for maintaining a community tourism
business. The session featured the likes of well-known
local actor and director, Carl Bradshaw who currently
chairs the Portmore Community Tourism Project and
Canadian based consultant and volunteer at the
Portmore Municipal Corporation, Kym McCulley.
