ADULT ATHLETIC LEAGUES
The Town of Jupiter Parks and Recreation Department hosts over 20 adult athletic leagues with approximately 2,500 league participants per year. Leagues offered throughout the year include softball, flag football, soccer, basketball, kickball and volleyball. Team registration only. CPR / AED CERTIFICATION- ACTIVITY CODE 525201
The 2.5 hour CPR / AED American Heart Association certification course teaches the techniques of adult, child and infant CPR. This course also teaches how to respond to a choking adult, child or infant. Participants will also learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and stroke. Additional elements can be added to this course to satisfy healthcare worker requirements. WOMEN’ S SELF DEFENSE SEMINARS- ACTIVITY CODE 111303
In this seminar you will learn basic protection skills and be introduced to Adult Self Defense. Students should keep in mind that this class is physically demanding, and those attending should dress for a workout. Even if you have physical limitations, please join us and participate in the sections that are appropriate for your abilities. Participants are responsible for notifying the instructors upon entering the class of any concerns or physical limitations. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Perfect for play during any season or weather, the Jupiter Community Center offers indoor pickleball courts for open play and pre-registered sessions.
