People all over the world, Colearners, Books, Websites and multimedia all become resources Learning activities Multidisciplinary and multisensorial learning activities, authentic and challenging activities Learning strategies Foster inquiry and exploration. Practice basic skills and learning is extended from within the four walls of the class to the world outside. ROLE OF TEACHER IN A KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY The main responsibility of the teacher is to guide the learner to information, to knowledge and ultimately to the acquisition of wisdom. In this process the teacher has to play three significant roles. I KNOWLEDGE MANAGER. Knowledge management involves capture, sharing, application and creation of knowledge. As a knowledge manager teacher must have the capacity to take proper decision, to control situations and must be spontaneous and resourceful to changes.
