A progress of this nature would benefit Nigerians in all ramification; economically, socially, politically, and otherwise. OBJECTIVES I. To promote friendly sports activities in Nigeria. II. To provide avenues that would eliminate substandard infrastructure; and promote standard and safe sports equipments in the Nigerian stadia infrastructure. III. To provide safe and exciting sports arenas in various states in Nigeria capable of hosting international sports events. IV. To encourage home patronage of Nigerian sports events by promoting the attractiveness of the Nigerian Professional Football League. V. To ensure a unique way of engaging the vast majority of unemployed Nigerian youths through sports activities. VI. To promote avenues for recreational activities for leisure and fun. VII. To promote social interaction. SIGNIFICANCE OF STUDIES This research work is expected to encourage Nigerians who are interested in the Architecture of sports. It also strives to agitate the interest of sports and Architecture in the mind of those who are indifferent about this notion and theory. It exposes the benefits which sports facilities can render to a nation as a whole. This research is expected to produce an intensified understanding of stadium or sports infrastructural design which in turn, will lead to a better design and construction practices in the sports industry.
