El Pital
It is a transnational mountain, located exactly on the border between El Salvador and Honduras. It is located 13 km northeast of the town of San Ignacio, a Salvadoran municipality, and 7 km southeast of the Honduran city of Nueva Ocotepeque. It is a mountainous peak of impressive steep slopes. With 2730 msnm is the highest in El Salvador and the third highest in Honduras.
