The role of travel agencies according to the existing standard.

Anato is the National Travel Agency and Tourism Association. It's responsible for the promotion of solutions for the tourism sector and for highlighting the important role of travel agencies in order to boost Cartagena de Indias' tourism development. For this reason, ANATO insists on the importance of considering existing standards.
In line with the course Administration of Travel Agencies offered by the Unicolombo Hotel and Tourism Administration Program, a conference imparted by Karina Santacruz, Executive Director of ANATO (Cartagena branch) took place on August 31st, 2016, in the Unicolombo Auditorium.
The main topic developed was related to the role of travel agencies according to current standards, but Santacruz also talked about travel agency's services, the classification of travel agencies, new trends, and the importance of achieving national certification.
Finally, the students received the conference content via e-mail.
