Research as a knowledge construction activity allows to be applied in academic and business scenarios for the solution of social problems or questions.
The tourism program promotes formative research and fosters the research spirit in teachers and students, developing projects and activities focused on the benefit of the community. Research groups are an important axis for the development of projects that allow both students and teachers to strengthen their disciplinary competencies, explore many opportunities of the sector and propose ideas with an innovative and sustainable sense.
On the other hand, the research groups are a fundamental part of the institution's research processes, providing spaces allowing members to propose innovative solutions for the improvement of new products. It is important to highlight that the methodological tools that strengthen the research competences in the students such as classroom projects presented at the end of each semester, these projects are supported by a strategic curricular content that provides them with the systematic tools for the development of any project focused on the tourism field.
We want to invite our entire student and teaching staff to remain motivated to contribute to society in the construction of a better country in the building of knowledge.
