Tourism Products Fair 2018 - 2P
The exposition of tourism products of the second academic period of 2018, took place on November 20th, and was organized by professor Sorely Soleno, who imparts the subject Tourism Product.
Three groups: 4A, 4B and 4C showed their creativity and commiment in each stand that represented the products they created.
In the frame of the World Tourism Day, celebrated in Budapest (Hungary) by the World Tourism Organization -WTO, it was agreed the importance of high technologies for the development of tourism activities.
According to this, the creation of tourism products in this semester, were oriented under the WTO proposal. It let the students interact with different communities and tourism enterprises in the city and the rural zone.
This way, the students can design a product in line with the new needs and trends, and respecting at the same time the cultural aspects of the Caribbean Region.
This is a convergence point of new technologies and cultural traditions, and the opportunity to use the technological means to promote and sell tourism products.
The jury who evaluated the projects was conpose of the professors: Katia Román, Maritza Gómez, Carlos Pinto, Roger Agresott y Elizabeth Torres Rivas.
