An amazing walking tour for first semester

Academic Trek
The second walking tour of this year, for first semester students, took place last October 25th. In this opportunity, 24 students participated in order to discover the most important tourist attractions in the Old City of Cartagena de Indias.
The tour started in the bastion of San Pedro Mártir. The next stops of the tour were: Peace and Concord, Apolo Park, The Vaults, Las Tenazas, San Diego Square, Santa Clara Hotel, José Fernández de Madrid Square, Adolfo Mejía Theatre, Santo Domingo church , Santo Domingo square, Bolívar Park, San Pedro Claver church, La Aduana square, The Carriages square, the Clock Tower, Camellón de los Mártires and Centenary Park.
This academic visit to the Historic City was organized by professor Sorely Soleno, in the frame of the subject Tourism Theory, and the guide was the professor Alfredo Pérez, who is historian and professor of the Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management. He kept the attention of the students talking about the most amazing history facts. So the students asked many questions about the name of the streets, the squares and others tourist attractions.
One week after the tour, the students presented a task related with this experience.
