Events trek
The signing agreement between EPA and Unicolombo, took place the last October 5th in Colombo Historic Center branch. According to this agreement, an event was organized then in October 19 for the conformation of the Node.
This group is conformed by volunteers students that showed interest in being part of National Environmental Network. During this encounter, the coordinators and alternates were chosen, and they will be in charge of the team: JUA (Jóvenes Universitarios de Ambiente).
Among the activities that were developed in the frame of the signing of this agreement, the students had a training imparted by students from Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje - SENA about urban agriculture. This let the students of the Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management of Unicolombo, interact with other students and develop abilities in order to create projects related to the environment project.
Other training was focused on sustainable entrepreneurship. The students from SENA socialized different environmental initiatives which let the rest of the students expand their vision face the eco- friendly economic activities.
Finally, it is important to say that, the Unicolombo Node interchanges ideas with the nodes of other universities to create an space for interaction in order to propose environmental solutions.
