Cartagena de Indias, the walled city, still retains its colonial architecture, walls and fortifications, making it a favorite destination for national and international tourists who love history and culture.
That is the reason why we must take advantage of what the city offers, and in this way promote it using technological tools that today have become the best way to publicize a destination. Examples of these advances are the mobile apps that facilitate the tourist's experience, giving them the opportunity to meet and have an unique experience.
In this way, several companies in tourism sector and the government of Cartagena are enhancing the way of advertising and marketing the city, allowing increasingly that their brands reach different potential customers through technological means.
It is important to say that the peace agreement that was recently signed in our country, has been relevant because Bolivar was one of the most affected department, so, as a result of this agreement a great part of rural spaces increases biodiversity in order to achieve a better nature Tourism.
It is necesary to create innovative strategies that allow to attract tourists of the future, called Millenials, that today represent 50% of the world consumption. Therefore, in order to promote tourism in the city, it is also important to understand the needs of this generation and, Keep forming and specializing people to work in Tourism industry with the purpose of offering unique moments, according to the expectations of tourists.
