TOURISM TODAY

In Easter, we traveled to several municipalities of the Meta department we rented a car between 6 people: Maria Alejandra, Mariana, Santiago, Kevin, Andrés, and me, and the fact that we were Manos a la Paz colleagues, it facilitated many things during the trip; we met many places of this department such as: the pink dolphins in Puerto Gaitán, the Obelisk of Puerto López, Acacias and its commercial zone, San Martin and its colonial streets, Puerto Lleras and the Loma Linda lagoon. Our tour finished in San José del Guaviare where we went to see its beautiful sunsets at Guaviare´s river. The most awesome place that we met was Tranquilandia channel (caño tranquilandia) that has pink algaes. We went to the belt of Orion, a very beautiful rock formations.
After this trip I understood that Villavicencio is the "The Gateway to the Plains (La Puerta al Llano)" and that San Jose del Guaviare the Amazon gate. There I learned many things and I realized that in the Colombian plains (llanos) there are some beautiful landscapes waiting to be known, it was very enriching experience to travel in company.
For me, Manos a la Paz was an opportunity to participate in the construction of a new Colombia in the post-conflict and to realized that the things in the country are changing our country helping maney people. Now we have a country that wants to adjust its history. We can not change our past, but we can dream about a better future. Throughout of this 4 months, I understood that Colombia has warriors who survive against different struggle and go ahead. A Colombian always has an ingenious solution for the problems and has a smile to do the things; and we also have some wonderful landscapes and an ethnic and cultural variety, where I see it Colombia has many wealths. If you want to be part of the change, you must start to take Manos a la Paz experience.
Now, I only have great experiences, so I would like to travel again to visit my colleagues.
