Hospitality and Events Management : a new research group

Being aware of the importance of the economy impact of events and accommodation and what it represents for the national and international market, which is constantly growing, we are pleased to have a new research group called Hospitality and Events.
This research group, led by Professor Roger Agresott Madera, aims to generate academic spaces that promote scientific and formative research based on accommodation and event organization services.
The purposes of this initiative aim to strengthen the knowledge of teachers and students that make up the team, as well as contribute to the sustainable development of communities and the tourism sector through social work.
At present, this research group participates in productive sector projects such as logistical support in events, participation in fairs and developing research in a strict sense.
The last experience in a national event was the participation of some of our students in the XXXVI Anato tourism showcase, celebrated on February in Bogota.
We invite the academic community of the Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management to be part of this wonderful experience to learn more about our research projects.
