TOURISM TODAY

Editorial

The global development of tourism has transformed travel and leisure activities into a true industry that at the same time modifies the social and economic behavior of current generations. The young people are very important in this measure and in the way they enjoy their free time, being more adventurous, those who have the capacity they have and the personal and technological strengths have assumed the role of an explorer traveler where culture and experience are very important for them.

Globally this industry has had a steady progress where the generation of millennials have traveled more frequently showing important figures in the national and international indicators. With the growth of tourism there are some social scourges that should be prevented, such as the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, which is a topic that the students of the program have been working with awareness workshops and participating in the city project.

This edition provides an overview of the major events and the impact that it has generated on the students and also on the external people who participated. Thus, we consider important to carry out an integrating program with the entities and guilds of the tourist sector in such a way that it finds an academic - business articulation.

The Bachelor Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management Lit up with excitement over the events and academic activities held on the classrooms, auditorium and outdoor as programs cheered on by students, teachers and the coordinator.
