Marriott International expands its brand presence in Kerala as Four Points by Sheraton Kochi Infopark, a luxury hotel, was officially opened by Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala at Kakkand, Kochi the new IT hub of Kerala’s commercial capital on February 11, 2019. Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan has inaugurated the hotel in the presence of Mr M R Jaishankar, CMD, Brigade Group, Mr. Neeraj Govil, Area Vice President, South Asia, Marriott International, Ms. Ranju Alex, Marriott’s multi-property Vice President of Bengaluru and Kochi and Mr. Dinesh Rai, General Manager of the newly opened property. Four Points by Sheraton Kochi Infopark was developed and owned by the Bangaluru based Brigade Group with well appointed 218 guestrooms including 23 suites, reflect the Marriot brand’s promise of integrating timeless classics with modern details. The hotel is designed to organise big events and accommodate a number of guests on such occasions. “It is our first hospitality venture in Kochi. We have the famous World Trade Centre here. Currently, we have six hotels with 1,200 rooms across the country. In the next two years, we are looking to expand the number to 11 hotels and 450 additional rooms across the country,” said Mr. M R Jaishankar, CMD, Brigade Group. Commenting on the launch, Mr. Neeraj Govil, Area Vice President, South Asia, Marriott International said, “We are delighted to announce the opening of Four Points by Sheraton Kochi Infopark, the twelfth hotel in the Four Points by Sheraton’s India portfolio.
