With an increase in visitors , several big hotel chains are expanding their reach to Guyana . Recently , Sheraton Hotels & Resorts brand signed an agreement to open a 200-room Sheraton Hotel and a residence facility here . The agreement was signed with H-Towers Inc . – a Guyanese owned company – and its U . S . based partners , Triwest Financial Group , Inc . and Black Pearl Holding Co .
The anticipated hotel will feature a sophisticated Sheraton Club Lounge , a mix of king and double rooms and several suites . There will also be other amenities including swimming pool , 24-hour fitness center , specialty restaurant , meeting and conference rooms , state-of-the-art spa , and

The project includes a residential component whereby 224 residences will be housed in the second tower , connecting with the hotel via a sky bridge . Construction for the two towers is slated to begin at the end of the year , with an expected completion date in 2025 .
Further , a Marriott Courtyard is being built at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport ( CJIA ). This is expected to be a 6 story building with 140 rooms and amenities . The hotel will be a one-minute drive from the entrance of the CJIA and is expected to accommodate airline crews and staff , business personnel , diplomats , and other travelers .
The renowned Pasha Global Group , headquartered in Suriname has also commenced preparations to build a
Courtyard by Marriott , Guyana ( conceptual design by Urban Architects – New York ’ s 2019 Design Firm of the Year ).
