The Fernie Ghost Tour is a parade of Fernie ’ s most ghastly ghost stories , blood-soaked buildings and horrible happenings in the downtown core .
Listen closely and you will learn of the ghosts that haunt this hidden corner of the Kootenays , and if you peer into the darkness you may even spot a ghostly apparition …

Carved in Stone is a collection of stories of the men and women from the Elk Valley who served during WWII , as well as those who are commemorated on the Fernie and Sparwood cenotaphs .
BLOOD IN THE SNOW : AN OLD WEST MURDER MYSTERY
Saturday November 23 at the Elks Hall
The Museum ’ s annual fundraiser returns as a thrilling night of murder and intrigue featuring an original storyline by Lindsay Vallance , costumed participants , spaghetti dinner , drinks by donation and as much mystery as you can handle !

View Elk Valley history through the lens of its past schools ( 1898-2008 ) and the schoolhouses lost to economic , political or social change . This exhibit temporarily shares memories of former students and teachers in a fascinating snapshot of 20th century life in the Elk Valley .
