Welcome to Long Island Tough Break Fishing Club!!!!! Where local fisherman can share stores, post pics of their latest catch, share tips and meet other fishermen. Many group events planned off and on shore. We are a free membership club just looking to have fun fishing . This club was made up for beginner fishermen to advanced anglers .

We plan several events a month usally on the weekends because we know how busy we all are . All events are locally on Long Island. Some members also teach inexperienced fishermen how to fish or even how to hook a worm on. We also can teach you how to use a kayak or fishing on a kayak .

Do the math

Largemouth Bass Weight

The formula to calculate the weight for a Largemouth Bass that is 20 inches long and has a girth of 15 inches is as follows. Largemouth Bass have a shape factor of 1050.

WEIGHT = LENGTH x GIRTH² / SHAPE FACTOR

WEIGHT= 20 x (15²) / 1050

WEIGHT= 20 x 225 / 1050

WEIGHT= 4500 / 1050

WEIGHT = 4.29 pounds
