Hydrotherapy (also known as Aquatic Physiotherapy) is one of the oldest
forms of medical treatment and uses the physical properties of heated
water to improve flexibility, mobility and even fitness.
Allison Dwyer, one of CPL’s Physiotherapists who specialises in hydrotherapy, explained
that it can be used to help many conditions such as arthritis, musculo-skeletal disorders,
neurological conditions, mobility restrictions, diabetes, respiratory and cardiovascular issues
as well as mental health.
