The physical city is built upon these intangible systems that organise both our private lives and the exchanges we have with others in public space. Exploring the relationship between the formally planned city and the resultant sub- economies it creates, we can consider the spatial implications of policymaking, and the spatial potential of designing with these tools of the city to hand.
