Everybody loves a bit of VIP treatment, and when it comes to the Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon powered by BYD, one group of runners that definitely deserves some VIP status are the Blue Number Club( BNC) members. These are runners who have shown their commitment to the event by completing the Ultra, Half or Trail Run 10 times to earn a blue permanent number, or runners who have earned five golds in the Ultra, or won either the Ultra or Half three times. Here is a list of the VIP treatment that BNC Members can look forward to during the race week of the 2026 event …
Blue Number Club Dinner
Guinness World Record Holder, entrepreneur, investor, CEO and TTOM runner Keith Boyd will be our captivating guest speaker at a social gathering to enthral and inspire you before your race. Plus, we have a few surprises up our sleeve!

• Venue: UCT Rugby Fields, VIP Marquee
• Time: 5.30pm for 6pm, until 9pm
Express BNC Race Pack Collection
Dedicated BNC race pack collection kiosks will be clearly marked, setting the tone for an elite Expo experience. Your goodie bag comes packed with a pair of Versus socks, your T-shirt, and a moisture-control cap, courtesy of our presenting partner, BYD. Also, BNC runners can register for the exclusive, dedicated BNC Express Bag Drop channel at the tog bag hand-in area at the Start on race day – ask for the special armband for this when registering.
Blue Number Club Expo Lounge
Skip the buzzing expo crowd and head straight for the lounge, or make your way through our proud TTOM 2026 Expo offering. At race pack collection, you’ ll be directed to the Blue Number Club lounge on the first floor. You’ ll also be provided with an armband – your exclusive pass to the BNC Lounge, entitling you to a coffee, two cold drinks and a muffin.

Take your pic in front of the BNC Honour Wall and have a brief catch up with old acquaintances before your race. Your spouse or significant other, or a family member or friend, is welcome to join you in the lounge – use your armband to redeem a coffee, cold drink or muffin for them, should you wish. Note, though, that no extra armbands will be issued.
Complimentary T-shirt Customisation
Unveiling one of the best BNC perks for TTOM 2026! You’ ll be able to have your T-shirt customised with a BNC badge at no cost to you. Best of all, you’ ll skip the queues, as this complimentary T-shirt customisation service will be available right there in the BNC lounge, for your convenience.
Preferential seeding
The number of runners per batch has been decreased, meaning the number of batches has increased. You will be seeded in Batch J for the Ultra, or in Batches L or S in the Half. If your qualifier warranted a higher seeding batch, you will, of course, be placed in a higher batch accordingly.
Finish line glory
We’ re bringing back the bell! If you’ re a yellow number attaining your tenth medal, the bell will be ringing out in celebration of your achievement! In the finish tent, you’ ll be awarded your permanent number, and the moment will be captured by our photographers.

If you’ re notching up your 20th or 30th medal, your double or triple laurel awaits, and if you’ re hitting lucky number 25, you can look forward to a miniature trophy to mark your milestone, and free entries for the rest of your races!
Post-race BNC Grab‘ n Go Marquee
From the finish tent, make your way to the end of the rugby fields, where you can cool down with( another) Coke, courtesy of our hydration sponsor, Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages, and a tasty prepacked snack freshly packed and prepped just for you by Bootleggers.
Your race number gets you in, so don’ t discard it in the finish tent! This also means that entry to the BNC marquee is restricted to BNC runners on the day you are running your race. So, enjoy a quick wind down and‘ well done’ before catching up with your family and friends.
Cipla Recovery Zone – BNC area
Finally, make your way to the Cipla Recovery Zone, where once again you’ ll enjoy a premium experience thanks to a dedicated BNC area within this recovery zone. No long queues – just precision recovery for the high performer.

Make your way down to the beer garden or join your club mates at Middle Campus knowing we’ ve done everything to make sure you’ ve had your best BNC race yet, with an experience that’ s nothing short of legendary!
