TOGBAG DROP & COLLECTION
Here ’ s where to drop off your Tog bags on Race Days , courtesy of NightwinG
In a first for the Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon , we are proud to partner with NightwinG Couriers as our official Logistics Partner in 2022 . Both brands are committed to showcasing excellence to their main stakeholders – the runners – and to make the race day unforgettable !
This partnership is all about enabling runners to conquer the current , by taking their minds off the little things that could hold them back on race day . NightwinG has therefore put in place detailed plans to ensure you have a quick , convenient and efficient tog-bag experience .
TOG BAG DROP-OFF AT START
If you look at the Start map , you will see two drop-off points : 1 . The first point is situated in Dean Street on the right-hand side of the road , next to the square . 2 . The second point is situated on the corner of Mount Road and Main Road , next to Westerford High School .
NightwinG will have five vehicles at the start – three in Dean Street and two at the corner of Mount Road and Main Road – and these vehicles will be numbered and color-coded . When handing in your tog bag , you will receive a colored dot which will tell you exactly which vehicle to look for at the finish to retrieve your bag after your run . NightwinG will then use your runner ’ s race number on your bag . This way you don ’ t have to do anything except look for your vehicle at the end of the race .
TOG BAG COLLECTION AT THE FINISH
Each vehicle will have a driver and an assistant . At the finish , these friendly NightwinG staff members will gladly assist you to collect your tog bag . The tog bag trucks will be stationed at the top of the Jammie stairs near the finish line at the UCT Upper Campus ( see the Finish map on page 68 ). You can collect your tog bag by showing the corresponding , colored dot you received to one of the expertly trained NightwinG staff at UCT .
