What are you currently doing to follow the success of Volume 2 ? Emily : We are writing right now for Volume 3

and that ’ s definitely going to be a move forward and there ’ s a lot going on in that . We ’ re very excited to write and grow from where we were . The record is a year old now and we have toured so much with that now and we are very excited about moving forward .

When do you find time to write the new material ? Emily : Every time we have some time off , we

get into the studio as soon as we can and just start writing . The touring schedule has been very busy this year but even when I ’ m on tour I still try to jot down ideas , and get back to them when we have the time .

I am curious to what the inspiration to create the character and storyline ? Emily : I always wanted to a transmedia project . When everybody started doing social media , and that became the thing back in the early 2000 ’ s , I was coming into the musical part of my career . I was experimenting in music and things like that . I thought that one day I really wanted to do something that was different , like a straight up music project . A few years ago , I thought this might be the right time to do that and I wanted to do something transmedia . We have all of the social media outlets to tell stories , and it is such an interesting platform and landscape to tell stories on . I thought this would be a great idea to do it now and that ’ s how the “ band ”, or the art project , was born .
