“ All my boys were tired of like , watching us get shit on by the industry . They said fuck this , I want to I want to be a part of this . So they all just jumped on .

– Shai on his famous friend helping the band out .
Explain how the working relationships work in a business sense in the industry today ?
SHAI : Um , it really depends on who you ’ re working with . Like these are all my homies . So it ’ s more like we do writing splits . So it ’ s like whatever ’ s on , we ’ ll get performance royalties , shit like that . But it ’ s not like some people who pay to have features . I mean , that ’ s super common in like rap , but all my boys were tired of watching us get shit on by the industry Sterilite Dude , fuck this , like , yeah , I want to I want to be a part of this . So they all just jumped on . And we just do like writing splits on it . So they ’ ll get paid on publishing shit like that . But right now that works for us other people . Yeah . You know , it ’ s kind of a pay to play thing . Yeah . But I mean , for us , fortunately enough , like , everybody was just like one EOD behind it .
What is the driving thought and emotion behind this collection of songs ?
SHAI : The song is really about inner struggle . And that inner struggle can be anything . It can be addiction , it can be fucking for some people ’ s sexuality , you know , it could be financial struggles . It could be .. you don ’ t think you ’ re good enough , like you don ’ t make enough money to keep up with the Joneses . It could be a million different things , but it ’ s about inner struggle . What ’ s it like living life oblivious on the other side , like , you ’ re sitting there faking your way through life , feeling disgusting about it , CONCLUDES ON PAGE
