With so many things going on in the world , did it fuel your performance on the record ? You seem to have a lot of emotional in these performances .
ELIZE : Now looking back , yes . You ’ re thankful for being alive but you ’ re annoyed by false news . It ’ s a frustration and gratitude at the same time . Just a lot of emotions being in the studio with all of this going on , and it gave us an extra push and a bigger meaning to each word actually .
So being in a lockdown with the band obviously was your only chance for human contact and that release of sharing ideas and working towards a goal .
ELIZE : The only thing we had was each other , and we were stuck in Denmark at the time . We couldn ’ t see our parents due to the travel ban . We were so happy with Hendrik and Nills making it into the country , with everyday going by , you really didn ’ t know what to expect . You also realize that it becomes less of trying to be perfect and more of getting your emotions out on the record . We were at least able to do what we love to do . ELIZE : It was very important . We were with the same record company for 10 years , which is a long time . And it has been good for Amaranthe . They were showing interest in us a few albums back when we were still with Spinefarm actually . There is a lot of energy and enthusiasm behind this record from the entire team .
How are you guys dealing with the fact of not being able to go out and perform this material in front of thousands of fans ?

“ You als less of tr more of ge on the reco

ELIZE : Well , we are trying to keep the band active and keep the FAITH ! Because that ’ s kind of important . We will probably release a few more videos . The band is actually talking a lot more than we usually do in the time off . I think it ’ s really nice actually . We are staying positive and hopefully will be able to tour late in 2021 in Europe . I hope we can keep the passion and not have it die because of outside circumstances .
ELIZE : That ’ s amazing you got that ! Yes , especially with new management and a new record label that was excited to work with us , but we asked ourselves
