Exciting News Growing The Game
This past week there was some exciting news coming from the
National State Associations in the Northeast to increase
opportunities to grow and develop youth players in that region.
US Youth Soccer, the Northeast Soccer League in New England,
and the Club Champions League & National Capital Soccer League
in Maryland and Virginia have partnered together to provide a
new pathway for teams to advance to the Eastern Regional
Championship. This new pathway provides players, teams and
clubs in these elite leagues an opportunity to earn a berth to the
US Youth Soccer National Championship Series, the oldest and
most prestigious National Championship in the country.
The US Youth Soccer National Championship Series allows over
185,000 players on over 10,000 teams the opportunity to
compete for the National Title. It is the largest tournament of its
kind comprising of competitions in each of the 55 State
Associations along with top competitors from the National
Leagues vying to become National Champions.
