"Salvete omnes!
Ever since having a blast at NJCL Convention, the new AJCL board has begun its operations in the 25-26 school year. This year, we’ve introduced many new competitions, including the creative writing contest, T-Shirt contest, monthly challenge, and more! As of writing this, I have just recently finished the fall edition of our publication, Dicamus. Check it out on the AJCL website! Also as of writing this, we have Pompeii day activities coming up to commemorate the eruption that occurred in 79 CE. AJCL is planning to have a great year and can’t wait to show you what’s next! Valete!"

"Salvete and χαιρετε from the California JCL!
We left this summer’s NJCL convention with new friends, lasting memories, and high spirits (and lots of snazzy NJCL swag), full of enthusiasm for the year ahead. Since then, our local chapters have been busy with celebrations, pasta feeds, Trojan horse escapades, Halloween parties, study sessions, service projects, and so much more.
But a few weeks ago, hundreds of JCLers attended our annual regional conventions in Norcal and Socal — Ludi Octobres and SCRAM (Southern California Regional Amici Madness). There, in classic Classics fashion, we joined our arms proudly once again to sing (or yell) the JCL song to officially kick off the year. Activities included Certamen rounds, Roman speed dating, sports events, the usual smorgasbord of tests, and, most importantly, fun and fellowship. Our next big event is the State Convention in April, and we’re all very excited!
Follow us on Instagram (@cajcl) for more details, and check out our Nuntius when it comes out!"

"Greetings from the state of Florida!
We had a wonderful nationals where we brought 86 delegates, 14 sponsors and 11 chaperones to cheer on our novice, intermediate, and advanced teams who got fourth, fifth and third, respectively!
At Nationals, we announced our Regional Leaders who are eager to aid in the leadership of all eight of our regions.
This fall, our officers met at the fall planning meeting, where we outlined events for the year such as Fall Forum and States!
We look forward to a wonderful year ahead!"
