"The dish seems to have a variety of flavors, combining the figs and grapes of the Mediterranean and then roasting the bird. I feel that, out of the options presented, this would be the most rich and flavorful due to the substantial fat of the bird itself."

"Although the name sounds really weird, the actual recipe is pretty normal and seemingly good for modern standards. It includes layers of dough and cheese with honey which form an early version of baklava. Having made some ancient Roman recipes before, this is one I still haven’t tried, but it seems pretty good. The word 'placenta' in English actually comes from the Latin name for this cake since an anatomist believed a placenta looked like a 'uterine cake.'"
