5. Since many of you are entering college or senior year, what are your plans to stay involved in the Classics after high school?

William: "As I'm going into college and I'm in the northeast, I know I plan on staying involved in Certamen by helping out write questions and moderating for the college Certamen competitions like Yale, Princeton, and Harvard. I look forward to really going to those events, seeing the other side, being able to write questions seems like a lot of fun to me. So that's how I plan on staying involved with the Certamen. Then, I also plan on taking some Classics classes in college. This fall, I'm taking a class on Antioch, specifically, and I'm really excited for that."

Ribhu: "My college doesn't offer any classics courses, but I plan on learning Greek on my own, like Greek history, Hellenic history, literature and the language itself. For Certamen, I want to coach the Georgia team until another national championship next year and also in these collegiates."

6. If you're a rising junior or a senior in high school , what are your goals for the upcoming year in Certamen or JCL-related activities?

Jerry: "Since we had two core members who've left and we all have a new Latin teacher [and] even though it might seem like a fresh restart, I think all of us are looking forward to continuing our streak in collegiate tournaments and potentially winning the next national championship. But for now, I think we're all set on Boston Open [Keartamen Open] or Yale [Certamen]. I think as players, we're looking forward to studying for that and also looking forward to meeting our new players who just graduated from Intermediate."

Jeremiah: "Just like Jerry, it might seem like a new restart or a new chapter in our Certamen team, but there's a lot of overlap that we've had with these seniors who are going out. I think our main goal is just to continue the success, continue the streak, and just focus on making WJCL and GJCL great."

Kashyap: "In the Certamen aspect, [I would like to] just grow as a team, build a stronger [team with] more people, [and] have more people engaged in Certamen. Then, in general, [I would like to] grow membership as a whole and get more people into Certamen and in the classics."

Aaron: "I want more people in Walton and in Georgia to start studying Certamen and playing Certamen. One way of doing this is collectively sharing resources. In the past, we've had a lot of our own exclusive [materials], but now we're starting to spread them to more people in our school."
