Every convention, the NJCL Officers award a convention packet award, also called the registration award, to a single delegate. The awardee receives a free registration to that national convention. Each applicant submitted an essay and adult recommendations.
Your 2023-2024 NJCL Officers reviewed these materials as well as JCL participation and awarded this year’s well-deserved Convention Packet Award to Jonah Chan of California.
In an effort to increase representation and accessibility to the National Junior Classical League Convention, the NJCL awards this packet to a student from a group that has been historically underrepresented in or underserved by the field of Classics. The awardee will recieve free registration to that national convention.

The Lillie B. Hamilton Award is given to the highest achieving, well-rounded students at NJCL convention. Students are ranked by their combined scores in multiple categories of individual points. Trophies are given to commemorate their phenomenal accomplishments. This year's winner's are:
