Dear ACL members and supporters,
Like you, we believe in the transformational power of the American Classical League, Excellence Through Classics for novice Latin learners, the Junior Classical League for middle and high school students, and the Senior Classical League for college students and alumni. We are writing to you as someone who shares a part in the enduring legacy we have created as members of the ACL/ETC/JCL/SCL community.
The American Classical League is committed to supporting and advocating for all contexts of teaching and learning ancient Greek, Latin, and about the ancient Mediterranean world. That commitment extends beyond our annual events like the NJCL convention, ETC nationwide games and contests, and ACL Institute, and resonates through the lives of our members and JCL alumni around the world.
As caretakers of our shared legacy, we have the opportunity and responsibility to ensure that future generations of teachers and students benefit from the same exceptional experiences that have shaped leaders, innovators, and lifelong learners for the past century. We are excited to launch our first annual campaign to raise funds for the American Classical League, which will directly support teachers and students. We hope that you will become a founding supporter in this first year of our annual campaign to help us reach our goal by April 1!
