Salvete, apes!

Nationals is getting closer and closer! I have been focusing on state officer turnovers communicating with new state presidents to make sure that they are on my email list for Presidents Insight and have all of the resources they need.

The officers and I are laying out final details and preparation for Convention. Recently, I finalized the brand new Ludi event: Gladiator Fighting! I am almost ready to publicize for all my interested gladiators. Furthermore, as promised in my campaign, I wanted to create a guidebook for state presidents going to Nationals. In this guidebook, I would provide sample agendas for Fellowship, how to organize/publicize all of the available contests and activities, descriptions of each of the important election events with locations and times, and more. Everything a new state officer needs to know to prepare their state for Nationals will be right in this book. In a couple of weeks, I will be reaching out to former state presidents for advice that they would like to give.

Finally, please be on the lookout on social media for Convention Countdown. We want to celebrate Nationals with you!

NJCL President 2018-2019

Amici,

This year as 2nd Vice President has gone by so quickly, but I have learned so much in this process about the NJCL, spirit and service at the national level, and all the compassionate people who make up the JCL.

Thanks to all of the wonderful JCLers, we had a successful National Classics Week to celebrate Rome's birthday. In addition, I was so touched to see the overwhelming amount of submissions and heartfelt messages for the #JCLove Campaign leading up to Valentine's Day. It's been amazing to see the many ways through which the JCL is a haven for so many students.

I encourage you all to attend the national convention; it is truly an experience like no other. I look forward to seeing you all in North Dakota!
