Waiting for July 26th may feel like an eternity. However, there are many things you can do to pass the time between you and national convention! For example, you could help make spirit props for your state at general assembly, study for your favorite topic to snatch those awards after exams, or practice ultimate frisbee strategies to bring home the champion title during Ludi events. Whatever aspect of national convention most excites you, convention will arrive before you even know it. The other 2018-2019 NJCL officers and I cannot wait to reunite with old friends and meet many of you for the first time this summer in Fargo, North Dakota. Convention veterans can attest that no matter how many times you return to nationals, there is something special about the perfect combination of people, activities, and atmosphere that never gets old. Each convention seems to hold a new experience for everyone and serves as another step within our exploration of the classics. It's only right for us to wish to share that experience with so many other passionate people. If you are not attending convention this year, please consider attending next year. If you are attending this year, might I advise you to brace yourself for the time of your life. See you very soon!
