Salvete!

After releasing the second issue of the Torch: U.S. in early December, I have started working on the Editor Handbook that I had promised to compile in my campaign. I have a team of state editors who are willing to give their own input so that editors through the JCL can receive advice from different perspectives. I also planned the content/layout for this issue of Torch: U.S. in January.

At the end of January, NJCL Historian Jesse Hogan and I hosted two joint Skype calls for both local and state JCL editors and historians. While we were primarily leading the calls, the local and state officers also gave insightful input that we learned from as well.

In February, I attended the Spring Planning Meeting in Arlington, Virginia with the rest of the officers and NJCL Committee. For the rest of the month, I worked to compile and create new content for the third issue of Torch: U.S. I contacted state editors for state update submissions and uploaded a new special content poll on social media. I have had a great start to a new year with the JCL, and I'm excited to see what 2019 holds in store for all of us.
