Salvete Omnēs!
The Louisiana Junior Classical League has been bustling with activity since our amazing state convention in March. In April we celebrated National Classics Week by recommending activities in the The Torch: LA and encouraging local chapters to participate. Since that time, the members of the state board have been hard at work brainstorming ideas for NJCL convention. On June 18th, LJCLers making the odyssey to Indiana this summer will gather for our first spirit meeting, where we review cheers, make spirit props, practice for That’s Entertainment, and have some quality bonding time. These meetings will take place nearly every weekend until the Louisiana delegation departs for nationals. In light of all these activities, Louisiana is extremely excited for NJCL convention and cannot wait to see all of you in Indiana!
