Break Out Box
The Break Out Box event was meant to
be an introduction to Certamen, but not
a Certamen practice. It was a chance
for members to learn more about the
topics in the world’s greatest sport
while munching on pizza, as well as
a fun competitive event for
further member bonding.
Falling into the Forum Feast
Students submitting ancient Rome inspired recipes to be distributed to the school's students and faculty at a classically themed feast
Ice Cream Social
The ice cream social was an introductory event for
the NGJCL chapter to introduce the club to those
that are new and a chance for returning members
to catch up.
Meals on Wheels
The NGJCL decorated lunch bags to put donated food in
while bonding as a chapter. Approximately 80 paper bags
were donated to the nonprofit organization.

Our chapter attached classically themed "Halloween Myth" fun facts to pencils and passed them out to the student body
Seneca's Pumpkin-a-Palooza
Students painted and decorated pumpkins with a classical and/or JCL
theme
Trivia Night
A fun event that invited people to test out their
knowledge in general on both Latin and non-
Latin subjects. Winners were awarded
candy.
