Patrol on theNanticoke River Article and Photographs by Cindi Chaimowitz
Float in started at 1100 and ended at 1230 on 8 July 2023 for a patrol on the Nanticoke River . On patrol work were Coxswain Al Grimminger and crewmembers Tim Precht and Cindi Chaimowitz .
With threatening thunderstorms scheduled for later in the afternoon , the Float in was a great success , and all involved had a wonderful time on and in the water . Many agencies were involved , including DNREC , fire boat companies from numerous surrounding areas and the Coast Guard Auxiliary .
