Changes a-foot for 2019
Yikes! After a busy end to 2018 you may have
noticed I skipped the Spring newsletter and am a
bit late with the Summer edition. I hope everyone
had a wonderful festive season with family and
friends. I myself have had an exciting start to the
year, moving south to Central Otago and beginning
my veterinary career.
In early December FBNZ held its AGM at PBB
House in Feilding followed by a planning day at
2019 event venue, Solway Showgrounds,
Masterton. At the AGM we said farewell several
executive committee members and welcomed 3
new people to the team. Those stepping down were
Marc Robertson, Sam Tipping and myself.

That’s about it from me this newsletter, next
newsletter due out early April and I promise that it

The exec welcomed Coadette Lowe, Cheyenne
Nicholson, and Grace Pettit on as part of the team
for 2019. All 3 of these ladies bring a wealth of
expertise to the committee through their different
areas of work within the agricultural industry. Keep
an eye on the Facebook page to find out more
about these wonderful ladies!
The 2019 ‘Hoof & Hook’ event is creaping closer by
the day with entries about to go live any day now.
Along with the major change to new venue, Solway
showgrounds in Masterton make sure you flick to
pages 7 -9 to be informed on other important
details for this year’s event.
Some of the stories in this newsletter are not all
that recent but I couldn’t leave them out as it is so
rewarding to see our FBNZ members out there
