In this exclusive interview with TopTv, 'Collding Hearts" fave Shannon Kane sits down to give us the scoop on what's coming up for her character, Carly Babin.
So Carly must be riding on a high. She recieved news that she was going to be winning an award for "Upcoming Business Woman of 2013". But something tell us that this party will be full of drama.
I think that's a fair assesment (Laughs) Carly is so excited about this award and she has Joseph as her date but what viewers are going to start as we get closer to this event is that their is a chance that everything will blow up in her face.
Sounds juicy! Can you tell us anymore?
I can say that I love this twist because it not only dramatically changes her relationship with Joseph but it also really affects her relationship with her father in some big ways! I'm afraid to say too much because I don't want to spoil anything. But like I said before, you will start to see how this will happen.
How's it been for you to have Carly's father on the canvas?
Oh my god. I can't even explain how much I love it. I think having him on the canvas opens so many doors as far as the story goes. It also really helps define Carly and we get to explore this other side of her which over time we will get to know more about their relationship.
Ok changing gears a bit. How's it been with the news of your co-stars Megan Tandy and Redric Williams leaving the show?
It's all really bittersweet. Working with them in the last year was so wonderful and we had a lot of fun and it's going to be sad when their gone but on the opposite side their exits propel Carly and Joseph's story. A lot happens for them after they leave.
