Rongbuk Monastery: Rongbuk Monastery, It is one of the highest temples in the world. It has an altitude of about 5150m, situated on the north side of Mount Everest. The Rongbuk Monastery is lies at the northern foot of Mt. Everest at height of 5000 m (16, 404.2 ft.) from a sea level. The monastery was built by a Nyingmapa Lama in 1902.
