Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech 2015 Adil Abrar Founder at Mastered Adil Abrar is the Founder of Mastered.com, an online fashion school. Previously he founded, Sidekick Studios in 2009, a product design consultancy and incubator with $2m+ annual revenues helping large organisations innovate like startups. Clients included RSA, Red Bull, Unilever, Sky, NHS London, Which?, Cancer Research, Charities Aid Foundation, Carers UK, and Flamingo International. In 2012, Adil was selected by The Observer as one of ‘50 New Radicals Making Britain a Better Place’. He is also the Co-Founder & Non-Executive Director of of VCbacked Buddy, an SMS and web app enabling people with anxiety and depression to take control of their own condition. Buddy has been adopted nationwide by NHS therapy services. From 2012 - 2013, Adil was Projects Director at Sidekick School helping to creates spin-out products and services from charities. The first cohort from Sidekick School included Vinspired, Comic Relief, Carers UK and Inaura. He also co-founded The Amazings, a marketplace for retired people to sell their experiences, skills and passions direct to their local community. Adil began his career in advertising, before spending three years at Amnesty UK as the brains behind the Protect The Human Campaign. Tushar Agarwal Co-Founder & CEO - Hubble Tushar Agarwal is currently, Co-founder & CEO at Hubble (formerly Spacious) - an online marketplace for renting office space. His is an EF (Entrepreneur First) 2014 Cohort, selected as part of a group of 35 to found and build a high-growth technology startup and was selected as one of the top 100 students in the UK from 8,000 initial nominations in the FreshMinds ‘One to Watch’ 2010. An Economics Graduate of the London School of Economics, he previously worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Greenhill & Co. specialising in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) for two years. Previous internship experience is in investment banking at Barclays Capital, RBS Global Banking and Markets and Morgan Stanley Rajesh Agrawal Founder Chairman & CEO - RationalFX Rajesh Agrawal is the Founder Chairman & CEO of London based commercial foreign exchange company RationalFX. He was born and educated in India, completing a Master of Business Administration at one of India’s leading business schools, the Prestige Institute of Management & Research, Indore, before a job opportunity brought him to London in 2001. Rajesh founded RationalFX along with Paresh Davdra in 2005 in a small office in Brighton providing foreign exchange and wire transfer services to individuals. In the same year, RationalFX launched UK’s first online currency exchange system for private individuals at real time prices. RationalFX relocated to City of London later in the same year. In August 2012, Agrawal launched Xendpay, an online money transfer platform aimed at remittance market, to cut down the cost of money transfer and bring more transparency in the market.
